Unlike most of the business ventures that are initiated with a mere intention of profiting, we have an interesting origin. Akarsha was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Dissanayake in the year of 2014, the story begins when they were blessed with their beautiful daughter whom they named Akarsha. Growing up the little girl showed great interest in art, and at an early age like 6 years she started to design jewelry out of everything that came across her may it be a plastic bottle lid or a flower she turned it in to a jewelry. Mr. and Mrs. Dissanayake who noticed this foresaw that this child will in the future could be a great designer, hence they initiated this venture and named it after their lovely daughter, AKARSHA which means attraction.
